Aluminized Coat with hood HR2-Firefly GoodPRO

Reflective protective coat and hood that are part of the HR 2 – FIREFLY IGoodPRO ® suit have been designed for proximity firefighting. It provides protection against fire and intensive radiant heat thanks to the outer layer made of double aluminum reflective DUAL MIRROR® fabric by Gentex Corp. This aluminized coat is suitable for fire brigades and big industrial plants to equip their teams.

The inner part of the coat and hood is made of NOMEX® fabric and aramid felt. A polyurethane uninflammable membrane is laminated on the inlay; all seams are covered with polyurethane tape. This combination prevents from liquid penetration, in the meantime enabling moisture to evaporate through the fabric. The material in its composition complies with the EN 1486 standard, and reaches better performance than required. Those protective coat and hood can be used by firefighters, and are suitable for special high-risk extinguishing and rescues from fire when respirators are necessary.

As a fire entry coat and hoot, the Firefly coat with hood is an essential safety equipment for industries dealing with volatile or highly flammable materials. Examples would be petrochemical and chemical plants, steel and aluminum industries, glass or ceramic plants, high pressure steam industries. This easy to put on coat with hood can also be used by workers exposed to high radiant heat during maintenance tasks in industrial kilns and ovens.

The HR 2 – FIREFLY II version, which doesn’t have polyurethane membrane, can be used in industries where there is a very high risk of fire.

1405-coat with hood - The hood has a golden reflective visor and anti-fog treatment, double protective glass, double fastening: metal zip and Velcro located into the area of the hood, which enables very comfortable wear, putting on and taking off. It has an inner compartment for respirator, knitwear sleeves and ribbed sleeve cuffs, and lower part of the coat made of rubber.

The HR 2 - FIREFLY GoodPRO® coat with hood is produced in one universal size. It can be worn by a smaller person thanks to the adjustment straps inside. The coat can be put on and off by the user without any other person’s help.
